Compare Your Life is an information and entertainment service that shows facts and content tied to a date of birth — for example, zodiac signs, numerology, age milestones, and cultural anchors from a given year.

You agree not to:

• Submit a date of birth that is not your own without that person's consent.
• Use the service to harass, defame, or invade the privacy of another person.
• Scrape, mirror, or systematically download substantial portions of the service for republication.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the service except to the extent applicable law prohibits us from restricting that.
• Probe, scan, or test the security of the service or attempt to circumvent rate-limiting, authentication, or bot-detection.
• Use automated agents to inflate metrics or generate fraudulent traffic.
• Upload or transmit content that is unlawful in your jurisdiction or ours.

We aim for accuracy but make no warranty that any historical date, biographical fact, ranking, or interpretation on the site is correct or complete. The underlying source material may contain errors, ambiguities, or regional variations.

Most of the service is usable without an account. If you subscribe to a digest you are responsible for keeping your email address up to date. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any digest email.

The Compare Your Life name, logo, design, and original copy on the site are owned by us. Cards generated for you to share are intended to be shared on social media; that is what they are for. You may not strip attribution or claim original authorship of an image we produced.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Our total cumulative liability for any direct damages will not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD 100), regardless of the cause of action.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded — including, where applicable, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or liability for fraud.

You agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms or in violation of any applicable law.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where consumer-protection laws in your country grant you a non-waivable right to bring the dispute in your local courts.
